Email correspondence is handled by your mail provider and ours, separately from downloader requests. A response time is not guaranteed, but a clear and limited report is easier to investigate.
What to include in a technical report
- the complete URL of the public SlideShare presentation;
- the exact error or status shown;
- the selected output format and SD or HD quality;
- what you expected to happen;
- your browser, operating system, and device type;
- whether the presentation opens publicly without a signed-in SlideShare session.
The public URL is normally sent to an AWS Lambda-backed API, which fetches presentation HTML and extracts slide image URLs. Your browser later fetches images through the API proxy and locally generates the aggregate file. This context can help distinguish resolution problems from local browser-generation problems.
What not to send
Never send a SlideShare password, session cookie, login code, private-presentation access, payment information, identity document, or unrelated sensitive personal data. SlideShare Downloader does not need or request SlideShare credentials.
Privacy and rights concerns
For a privacy question, review the privacy policy and describe your request without including unnecessary personal data. For a rights concern, identify the work, provide its exact public presentation URL, and briefly explain your relationship to it. The terms of use describe acceptable use and user responsibility.
Users are responsible for obtaining the rights, licenses, or permission required to download, present, modify, or redistribute a presentation. Public availability alone does not grant those rights.
Independent service
SlideShare Downloader is independent and unaffiliated with SlideShare. We cannot manage a SlideShare account, restore a presentation, change its visibility, or grant rights to content hosted there.
